Document intake

Send us a document.

If you have something from a public record that belongs in the register — an ordinance, a staff report, a permit, an order, a meeting packet, a photograph of a site — send it. We read it, mark it, and say where it came from.

What happens to it

What happens to it

  • 01We read the document, not the summary. Send us an ordinance and we'll read the ordinance. Anything that came from a secondary source says so on its face.
  • 02It gets marked. Every entry carries three marks: where it came from, whether it reconciles against a named record, and how current it is. Nothing becomes a fact because someone sent it in.
  • 03Your name does not appear. Entries cite the document, not the sender. If you want attribution, say so and we will ask you first.
  • 04We may not use it. Some things do not fit the register and some things cannot be verified. Either way, you will not be told it was published when it was not.
  • 05It's free and it stays free. The register is public. Sending something doesn't buy you anything and doesn't obligate you to anything.

Optional. Leave it if you want a reply.

    What this is not

This isn't a tip line or a complaint line. We don't map reports, publish accounts of what people have experienced, or collect grievances about a company. Other organizations do that well — this isn't one of them.

We do not take anything obtained unlawfully, anything subject to a non-disclosure agreement you are bound by, or anything that is not a public record. If you are uncertain whether you are permitted to send something, do not send it.

    If you would rather email

    intake@calyxos.ai — same terms.

Corrections to something already published go to corrections@calyxos.ai and publish at the same prominence as the original.

Submission is governed by the privacy notice. Sending a document does not transfer ownership to Calyx.
