Privacy
A small public-record site should not need a surveillance stack.
What this site collects
Calyx does not intentionally set advertising cookies, load behavioral tracking pixels, or use cross-site advertising identifiers on this site. Hosting and security providers necessarily process standard network request information such as IP address, requested URL, user agent and timestamps to deliver and protect the site. Aggregate traffic or performance reporting may be derived from those server or CDN records.
Document submissions
If you use the submission form, we receive the jurisdiction, your description of the document and its source, any notes or files you provide, and your email address if you choose to include it. Submission material is used to review, verify, publish, correct or decline a public-record entry. We do not sell submission data.
Sending a document does not transfer ownership of it to Calyx. Published entries cite the underlying record, not the sender, unless attribution is requested and separately confirmed.
Submission material is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for review, verification, publication, correction and record integrity. Hosting-provider backups may persist according to the provider's own retention schedules.
Cookies and analytics
The site itself does not use advertising or behavioral-analytics cookies. Infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary security mechanisms. We count visits with GoatCounter, which sets no cookies and collects no personal information: it records the page viewed, the referring site, browser type, screen size and an approximate country, and does not store IP addresses or follow you across sites. If Calyx adds advertising pixels or another technology that changes this practice, this page will change with it.
Public records
Underlying ordinances, orders, filings, permits and other public records remain attributable to their issuing sources. Calyx claims no ownership over those underlying public records; copyright applies only to Calyx's original writing, selection, organization and presentation where applicable.
